Greetings from Aspen! We hope you are enjoying the spring … wherever you may be. It is hard for us to believe the ski season has ended and we are only two short months away from our summer season. Aspen Food & Wine Classic – June 14-16th:

This year the Food & Wine Classic will take place from June 14-16th in downtown Aspen. Tickets for the event have sold out. If you have yet to attend the biggest event of the summer, we invite you to do so! The Food & Wine Classic features wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, featured speakers and celebrity chefs and wine connoisseurs from around the world. 2013 Aspen Music Festival:

This year’s Music Festival will be held from June 27th-August 18th, and will bring an eclectic mix of orchestral concerts, opera, lectures, chamber music and more over the eight weeks during Aspen’s peak summer season. These events will be held throughout town including the Benedict Music Tent, Wheeler Opera House, Harris Concert Hall and various other venues. The cost ranges from free up to $500 per person. Employee Spotlight – Michelle Whiting:

Please join us in welcoming Michelle Whiting to the Frias Properties team. Michelle hails from Vero Beach, Florida and attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando. In 2009, Michelle moved to Aspen to experience the mountain lifestyle and mountain lifestyle she found. She enjoys snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, rafting, fishing, camping and concerts.  Before joining Frias Properties, Michelle worked for the Snowmass Club in Snowmass Village. Off-Season Work:

Frias Properties will soon begin its off-season maintenance and housekeeping tasks to prepare all rental condominiums and homes for the summer season. On the maintenance side of things, it’s spring inspections and repairs. For housekeeping, it’s deep cleans, window and carpet cleans, inventories and dry cleaning of bedding. Fly-fishing in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley is a hugely popular activity, both with locals and vacationers alike. Those who take to the local waters – namely the Frying Pan River and the Roaring Fork River – have the opportunity to catch a lot of trout, primarily brown and rainbow.
